Combining our experience in coaching attorneys on self-presentation and marketing skills with our experience in the attorney placement field, we create customized coaching programs for attorneys in transition that are based on the most up to date information and real world knowledge. Applying experience gained in both in-house and law firm environments, we help you to determine and to immediately begin moving towards both short and long term goals. As with all Optimus Legal coaching programs, your coaching program is customized for you and provides the practical tips, tools, and skills that work for you. By developing and honing these skills, your coaching program helps you to succeed both during your transition and after you begin your new position.
This personal coaching program focuses on well defined career goal objectives, and provides the self-presentation and other skills essential for success during transition. The coaching is comprised of two concurrent tracks. The first track, a series of telephone coaching sessions, provides the foundation and necessary tools for the second track, the creation of a written personal strategic plan that helps you in the move to your next position. Most importantly, the two concurrent tracks focus on implementation through a clearly defined personal action plan, which includes:
- Personal branding
- Communication
- Identifying strengths
- Promotional strategies
- Networking skills
- Effective resumes
The ten session program begins with a one-hour session comprised of an in depth interview designed to target your specific areas of concern and interest. Your coaching program is then comprised of nine scheduled 60 minute weekly telephone coaching sessions. These sessions:
- Provide systematic approaches that keep you on track;
- Bring the most recent and most effective ideas to help you stay abreast of current market information and trends;
- Guide you in making the most of existing contacts and assessing and pursuing new opportunities effectively; and
- Teach the skills required to be successful now and in the future.
The program includes unlimited short phone calls and e-mails during the coaching sessions.
