Our One-on-One Business Development Coaching Program for law firm attorneys is first tailored to match the firm’s culture and objectives, and is then customized for each attorney coaching client. After meeting with key firm individuals to establish firm goals, we meet one-on one with each individual attorney participating in the Program, conducting an in depth orientation session that enables us to create a more customized program for each attorney. This customization allows us to work with each attorney individually, providing them with practical tips, tools, and skills that will work for them at their current level of experience, and help them reach the next level. Sessions are generally conducted by phone, so geography is never an issue.
The One-on-One Business Development Coaching program focuses on business development and career objectives, and is comprised of two concurrent tracks. The first track, a series of telephone coaching sessions, provides the foundation and necessary tools for the second track, the creation of a written plan. Most importantly, the two concurrent tracks of the program focus on implementation and a defined action plan. The program is customized for each attorney, but will generally include elements such as:
- Personal branding
- Client development initiatives
- Target clients
- Promotional strategies
- Effective networking
The coaching sessions:
- Teach the skills required to make the most of existing contacts as well as how to assess and pursue new opportunities more effectively;
- Provide systematic approaches to practice and client development that save time and maximize efforts; and
- Bring the most recent and most effective ideas to help attorney’s stay abreast of current marketing information and trends
Program Details: The One-on-One Business Development Coaching Program is comprised of ten sessions. After an initial one hour session that includes an in-depth interview, there are nine scheduled 45 minute telephone coaching sessions. The program includes unlimited short phone calls and e-mails during the coaching sessions.
