Combining our experience coaching attorneys on self-presentation and marketing skills with our significant experience in the attorney placement field, we create customized coaching programs that bring practical information and real world knowledge to our outplacement coaching clients. Applying experience gained in both in-house and law firm environments, we help your attorneys to determine and achieve their transitional goals. Outplacement coaching will help your attorneys to get through the transition as easily and successfully as possible, benefitting both the attorney and the firm.
Optimus’ coaching programs are individually tailored for each attorney coaching client. The customized program allows us to work with each attorney, providing them with the practical tips, tools, and skills that will personally work for them and allow them to succeed.
Our Outplacement Coaching focuses on well defined career goal objectives. We also provide the self-presentation and other skills essential for success during transition. The coaching is comprised of two concurrent tracks. The first track, a series of telephone coaching sessions, provides the foundation and necessary tools for the second track, the creation of a written personal strategic plan that helps attorneys in the move to their next position. Most importantly, the two concurrent tracks focus on implementation through a clearly defined personal action plan, which includes:
- Personal branding
- Communication
- Identifying strengths
- Promotional strategies
- Networking skills
- Effective resumes
Program Details: The ten session program begins with a one-hour meeting that includes an in-depth questionnaire to target specific areas of concern and interest. The initial meeting is held in-person if practical to do so. After this meeting, a customized plan is developed for each attorney. The remaining weekly sessions are 45 minutes each and are conducted by telephone. These sessions:
- Provide systematic approaches that keep attorneys on track;
- Bring the most recent and most effective ideas to help attorneys stay abreast of current market information and trends;
- Guide the attorneys in making the most of existing contacts and assessing and pursuing opportunities effectively; and
- Teach the skills required to be successful now and in the future.
The program includes unlimited short phone calls and e-mails during the coaching sessions.
Pricing: $3,500 for ten sessions
