Jane McBride Kicks Off Women’s In-House Network – Initial WIN Lunch a Huge Success!

Jane McBride has been on the Planning Committee for the National Association of Women Lawyer’s General Counsel Institute held in NYC for several years. Every year, when she sent out her personal invitation to the event, she received numerous responses from women in-house attorney saying they couldn’t make it to NYC, and that they wished there was something like that here in DFW. Sensing that there was a demand for a peer to peer group for women in-house attorneys, Jane e-mailed her personal database of in-house women, inviting them to a kick off lunch for a new organization to be called Women’s In-House Network. The organization took off like wildfire, with over 90 in-house women registering for the initial lunch held on September 22d, 2009! Le Meridian North was positively aglow with the fabulous energy of these women, friendships were formed, connections were made. Many of the women who attended have invited other in-house women to join WIN. There are now over 150 in-house women attorneys who have requested being on WIN’s mailing list. More WIN events will follow. If you are an in-house woman attorney and would like to be included on the information list for Women’s In-House Network, please send your name and contact information to Emily Rogers at emily.rogers@optimuslegal.com.
